A Proud Partner Of WBJ’s Inclusion Summit

Last week, we proudly partnered with the Wichita Business Journal in sponsoring their Inclusion Summit held at Mark Arts. Several panel discussions surrounded the following topics:

• Starting a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) program at your company
• The next steps to take your DEI program to the next level and have an impact
• Where do we need to be as a community in a year in the DEI field

(In addition to our sponsorship, we also offered a $500 scholarship to a professional wanting to improve diversity and inclusion in their organization.)

We learned that progress has been made in our Wichita, KS community, but there are still improvements we can all make to develop a diverse and inclusive culture in our workplace. The consensus of the panel is to move from being intentional with our DEI efforts to it becoming a natural phenomenon. For us to be able to include all of our peers on a daily basis without even thinking about it would be the ultimate goal.

At Eddy’s Everything, we continue to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workplace.
